FAQ

Q: How can I tell "+" or "-" on a driver?

A: "+" should be marked next to the terminals, either with a "+", a red dot, or it's the larger terminal, but if you for some reason can't find out, or want to verify it anyway, here's a tip: Use a 1.5V battery and connect "+" on the battery to what you think is "+" and "-" to the other terminal, on the driver. The cone moves and stays either in or out for as long as the battery is connected. If the cone moves out, you have the correct polarity, if it moves in, it's reversed.

Q: Can your full range drivers be used in a two or three way system as well?

A: Yes, of course. Even if there are advantages with a single point source, some people may want to add more bass and/or a dedicated tweeter for the treble, which is just fine and actually another advantage with the wide band driver is that it allows for a smooth cross over without steep filters. Our metal cones go very well with ribbon units for example.
