Description
1st place shared at the EMMA Master 4000, 2012 Swedish Championship finals.
The car that I compete with is my every day family car, a Skoda Octavia RS -06.
The construction did not affect daily function and it would be a discreet and stylish design
With these conditions, I then chose the equipment for the project.
The system is relatively simple in structure, where Alpine has supplied CD changer and DSP and the two for channel amplifiers came from Mosconi.
As the subwoofer, I have chosen an 8 "and 10" from Gladen.
This has worked very well but I have not got anything to sound the way I wanted in the upper registry. Until I met Patrick at BRL in Trollhättan.
He told me about EAD's products after listening to the EAD E60 and E100, I knew what had been missing.
The clarity and detail these speakers delivered, I had never heard before.
The fact that they were able to play so far up and down in the register meant that I did not have to build passive crossovers.
EAD E100 is crossed over at 90Hz and then run all the way up without losing anything in the top,
EAD E60 is crossed over at 2kHz and is used today to give a little more sense of space, they are attenuated by 20dB over EAD E100.
The class I compete in is called EMMA Master 40000.
EMMA is the organization that provides competitive protocols, Master means that the class is open to judges and contestants, and that you are awarded points for installation, 40000 is the maximum amount that the equipment can cost in Swedish kronor.
In the 2012 Swedish Championship finals, I shared first place in the Master 40000.
